MotoGP: Red Bull sets launch date for 2018 F1 challenger

Red Bull will unveil its 2018 Formula 1 challenger – the RB14 – on February 19.

The Milton Keynes-based outfit posted a tweet revealing that the RB14 would launch on February 19, but no further details were provided.

It means Red Bull will be the second F1 team to reveal its 2018 car, following Williams’ scheduled launch later this week on February 15.

Red Bull has been known to push back its car launches in an attempt to eek out extra development gains, but it has taken a different approach in 2018, with the four-time world champions keen to ensure it is in the best shape possible for the new season as it bids to challenge rivals Mercedes and Ferrari for the title.
